These prints are quite old now but I have recently revisited them in reference to recent sculptures that use a mask as a central motif. ‘Give a man a mask, and he will tell you the truth’ to paraphrase Oscar Wilde. Undeniably they reference Sydney Nolan’s Ned Kelly series. These prints include dream imagery in their depiction of Kelly’s story.
